Michael de Avila
Host and producer Michael de Avila (Mike D) is a graduate of
the renowned Purchase College Film Program where he earned a Bachelor of Fine
Arts Degree in Film Directing and Cinematography. In 1993, Mike started a
production company in New York City with his college buddy Shannon Goldman and
they have enjoyed success directing and producing feature films, commercials
and of course Lunkerville, now in its 13th year of broadcast. The two have
garnered Emmy awards, many film festival awards, a Cine Golden Eagle for
Lunkerville and numerous industry awards for its productions. Lunkerville was
also voted “Viewer Favorite Fishing Show” three years in a row and Mike D
“Viewer Favorite Fishing Show Host” on Sportsman Channel.
